VALENTINE'S DAY AT HOME WITH #CHESHIREPORK

Roses are red, violets are blue, pork chops are tasty and bacon is too. <3

We are gearing up for Valentine’s Day and as much as we love a romantic dinner in a restaurant, sometimes an evening at home is the best date night. Good conversation, pajamas, Netflix, yep, our kind of Valentine’s Day. We want to share a few recipe ideas that are perfect for a night at home on the most “lovely” day of the year. Make your partner happy with a little #CheshirePork.

Heart-Shaped Bacon

If you realllyyy love your better-half, you’ll make him/her heart-shaped bacon! Our date idea is a Saturday morning breakfast in bed with all of the favorites: grits, eggs, and toast. This heart-shaped bacon will be talked about for years to come! Check out our blog post on how to make heart-shaped bacon here.

Stuffed Pork Chops

Filet mignon, who? These stuffed pork chops by A Farm Girl’s Dabbles are the perfect go-to Valentine’s Day dinner in. Serve with mashed potato and asparagus for a delicious addition. And guess what? When you eat too much, you don’t have to travel too far to get to the couch!

Pork Paremesan

Who doesn’t love a little Italian on Valentine’s Day? It just screams ROMANCE. One of our favorite Italian dishes is Chicken Parmesan, but how do we make this better? Replace the chicken with pork, obviously! Lemons for Lulu gave us this glorious idea. We suggest serving it with a side of pasta.

Pork Tenderloin

Want to really impress your lover this Valentine’s Day? Serve them up a pork tenderloin! It’s secretly very easy to prepare, but something about taking this beautiful piece of meat out of the oven is super impressive. We are loving this Apricot Glazed Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin by Closet Cooking. It’s sweet, savory, AND involves bacon - say no more.
