Our boneless butts are packed fresh, skin off, and trimmed to a ¼ inch fat cover. Though you’d get tired counting the ways to capture the taste and texture of the Pork Butt, we’re awfully biased to their most conventional use: to make perfect barbecue.

Our bone-in pork butts are packed fresh, skin off. The whole shoulder is separated from the middle by a straight cut between the fist and second rib, and the butt is separated from the picnic immediately atop the humoral/scapular articulation. A cross section of the blade bone is visible. The butt is trimmed to appear fairly square, with ¼ inch fat cover.

    Really outstanding quality to the meat. So much better than typical grocery store shoulders. Much more tender, much more moisture, just a better chunk of meat. Well worth the price.

    The meat was great. It came very quickly after ordering and was well packaged. However, I did not like the fact that both butts were packaged together. I had to thaw out both to separate and then reseal the unused one in a new bag for later use. It would be nice in the future to have these packaged separately.

    This dual pack of Boston Butt is excellent. Terrifically marbled with fat, made pulled port delicious.

    No better Pork Butt

    I have ordered these pork butts several times. They are simply amazing. I would put up my own BBQ over any restaurant in the U.S. - the quality of this pork is the reason why. The butts have required long smokes (~ 18-20 hours at 220) but the result is simply amazing. The bone pulls right out and you are left with tender and moist pulled pork. I enjoy trimming some of the excess fat too. You will not be disappointed in the Cheshire products. Amazing.

    These are top notch competition butts. In. Covid limited year when we did compete it was a triple. Beat multiple world champs and qualified for the Jack and Royal with these butts. In three contests we placed 1st, 3rd and 6th. Against amazing teams.

    Decided to take a chance and spend the extra money on 2 of the pork butts and they blew away any expectations I had. You could tell the quality as soon as you pulled them out of the box and perfect marbling where most of the fat rendered down for a perfectly moist pulled pork. And the flavor was unlike any pork butt I've made. Thank you

    I too was skeptical with ordering meat online. I was gladly proven wrong with Cheshire Pork. Their pork products across the board are of superior quality. I’ve ordered 3 packs of the Boston butts And their pork chops and breakfast sausages. Great marbling and flavor throughout. Will most certainly be ordering again when I run low.
